Banknote Ethics Initiative

Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions SA is one of BnEI's founding members since 2013 beside other big players of the banknote industry.   

BnEI was established to provide ethical business practice and maintain high ethical standards, with a focus on the prevention of corruption and compliance with anti‑trust law within the banknote industry.

In order to become and remain accredited members of the BnEI,  the member companies have to successfully pass an audit performed by an external audit firm every three years and prove that its policies and processes are in line with the BnEI's Code of Ethical Business practice.
